Our community-approach gives everyone a role to play and reframes gender based violence from a women’s problem to a community responsibility, as communities shape and validate social norms for their members which instigate incidents or contribute to bystanders apathy.
Our theory of change builds on a socio-ecological model with activities on
skill-building training, supporting information and connectivity to increase self-assertiveness, safe bystander intervention, and incidence reporting
hosting discussion rounds, workshops and other local activities to de-taboo harassments, stop victim blaming and create role-models of capable citizens
creating & maintaining safe spaces through the implementation and enforcement of code of conducts and accountable harassment reporting systems
co-creating awareness-raising campaigns to shift social norms and lobby towards a comprehensive scope and effective implementation of regulations
